With the Iserine Herbstii you bring a very special plant into your home! The Iresine Herbstii is also known as the 'Steak Plant'. Originally from Brazil, this special plant owes its unique nickname to the leaves that some say resemble steaks. It may not be very well known, but the rare steak plant is great fun to bring into your home or give as a gift! It fits well into many interior styles and can go outside in after the Ice Saints. The plants are delivered with a height of 30-40cm (measured including pot).
Care
The Steakplant prefers a spot with a lot of light, but without direct sunlight. The perfect spot, for example, is in front of a north-facing window. It is important that the soil of the plant is always slightly moist, but make sure that no layer of water remains at the bottom of the pot. In fact, this can cause root rot. It is best to water the plant in small amounts at a time. In winter, the plant needs little water.
