With the Iserine Herbstii you bring a very special plant into your home! The Iresine Herbstii is also known as the 'Steak plant'. This particular plant originates from Brazil and owes its unique nickname to its leaves which, according to plant experts, resemble steaks. It may not be very well known, but the rare steak plant is great fun to bring into your home or give as a gift! It goes well with many interior style and and can also go outside after the Ice Saints, which makes it even more versatile. The Iserine Herbstii 'Rich Gold Star' has beautiful soft green and yellow leaves with lovely leaf markings on bright pink stems that bring color to any room. The plant is delivered with a height of 30-40cm (measured including pot).
Care
The Steak Plant prefers a spot with lots of light, but without direct sunlight. For example, the perfect spot is in front of a north-facing window. It is important that the soil of the plant is always slightly moist, but make sure that no layer of water remains at the bottom of the pot. In fact, this can cause root rot. It is best to water the plant in small amounts at a time. In winter, the plant needs little water.
